Hierarchical Structure

According to the Family Justice Act, the Presiding Judge of the Family Justice Courts must be a Judge or Judicial Commissioner appointed by the President on the recommendation of the Chief Justice. The Presiding Judge will take charge of the overall administration of the Family Justice Courts. A Central Registry will receive, assign and manage all cases for hearing. The Central Registry is under the supervision of the Registrar of the Family Justice Courts.
