4th Standing Meeting of ASEAN Insolvency Judges

The 4^th Standing Meeting of ASEAN Insolvency Judges took place on 21 July 2026. Judges discussed updates on the implementation of the Model Framework for Communication and Cooperation between ASEAN Courts in Cross-Border Insolvency Proceedings (Model Framework) that was approved at the 12^th CACJ Meeting​. The meeting also agreed on a scenario-based pilot project involving interested ASEAN jurisdictions on judicial assistance in foreign insolvency proceedings, the results of which will be presented as a paper at the next Standing Meeting for consideration and form the foundation for a possible ASEAN framework for assistance and relief, to the extent permissible under the respective domestic laws. The ASEAN Judges also identified insolvency topics for online judicial training sessions and workshops.
