The Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia hosted the 1st Judicial Wellbeing Workshop for ASEAN Judges in Denpasar, Bali from 30 March to 1 April 2026, in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Justice.
85 judges from 9 ASEAN judiciaries participated in this inaugural workshop themed “Judicial Wellbeing to Strengthen Judicial Integrity”. Participants attended a series of plenary sessions and peer exchanges, with the objective of equipping them with tools to manage modern challenges, ensuring resilient, inclusive, and effective judiciaries within ASEAN. By the end of the training, participants obtained a deepened understanding of the physiological and psychological impact of judicial work, and they were equipped with a toolkit of practical exercises to manage judicial stress in real-time.
