Appointment of The Honorable Thar Htay as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Union of Myanmar

The Council of ASEAN Chief Justices (CACJ) welcomes Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Union of Myanmar, The Hon. Thar Htay, to the CACJ. The Hon. Thar Htay was appointed as the Union Chief Justice on 3 August 2023.

The CACJ expresses its appreciation for the contributions of former Union Chief Justice, The Hon. U Htun Htun Oo, to the work of the CACJ in advancing the Rule of Law within ASEAN.
